Dog Veterinarian Boise

We see all shapes, sizes, colors and breeds of dogs.  Many breeds have specific problems.  Annual exams are recommended for all dogs, but some breeds and older dogs, should be seen semi-annually. The Pet Doctor is a Boise dog veterinary clinic.

Many common health problems include obesity, dental issues, arthritis and lameness, skin and allergy problems, ear infections, urinary tract infections, kidney disease, and cancer, to name a few.  Behavioral and anxiety issues are also quite common.

If you notice the following behaviors in your dog, it’s important to bring her/him to the vet:
•    Vomiting or diarrhea lasting more than 24 hours
•    Changes in the eyes, including redness or cloudiness, discharge, excessive tearing, or squinting
•    Weight loss or weight gain
•    Changes in appetite
•    Excessive thirst and/or urination
•    Dull or dry coat
•    Change in temperament, such as your sweet Lassie turning into Cujo.
